Buy him a ticket in Row 26 of a Max 9 and you won’t even need to push.

Unless you’re in Denver, in which case you’ll need a 2,000’ ladder to get out

(Plane altitudes are based on sea level)

    My version is different.

Give a man a fish, and it feeds him for the day. Give him a poisoned fish, and it will feed him for the rest of his life.

Give him Fugu served by a novice chef and it might feed him for the rest of his life.

In the sport of skydiving we do indeed call it “flying.”

Did you know that you can jump off a plane without a parachute? Only, just once

They did a randomized controlled trial and found that wearing a parachute did not significantly reduce death or major injury when jumping from a plane

I hope you’re joking because the study is super tongue in cheek. They jumped out of an airplane when it was on the ground

I did notice the pictures of people jumping out of planes on the ground.

More often if it’s still on the ground.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !unclejokes@lemmy.world

When I was younger, I used to say, “if you make a man a fire, he’ll be warm for a night, but if you set a man on fire, he’ll be warm for the rest of his life.”

He lit a man on fire and the man survived. Proving the saying to be wrong.

Does that mean when a plane crashes, it wasn’t flying?
