On a side note, I would say this is the very first time I have ever experienced a live canvas event like this, I learned about the mechanism of placing pixels and everything. I’m pretty glad I was brought to Lemmy then headed out my job to it (creating an account etc.) and then brought to the canvas event, I got excited when @eatham@aussie.zone first told me about the event. I’ve been interested to do this kind of stuff, and overall, that was pretty exciting after all! 😃

The end result was very nature :3

Sorry if my random Colombian flag disrupted the space, tho.

Hey, no worries! Your flag was where it needed to be. And thanks, we tried our best and it turned out well in a pinch.

The time lapse makes it look like there are still holes in the aussie flag at the end, I know for a fact that’s not the case (I made the little aboriginal flag under the union jack)

The event isn’t over, so perhaps there were still holes at the time up to where this time lapse covers, that were filled in after this time lapse end time?

This has been amazing! So much fun, and everyone was so considerate of others’ art! Thanks to everyone who helped with the little Pokemon area with the Bulbasaur! I loved the additions (Cubone was my favorite).

It’s also cool how people helped to fill the white areas.

Thank you everyone who was involved with creating, fixing, and improving this event. It was a real reminder why I am here in the first place- the community spirit! 🥰
