Absolutely. He should have left last summer, especially since the club already brought in two strikers with Ekitike and Isaak. Salahs immense drop in performance wasn’t predictable, but during this season his departure was to be expected.
Perhaps a year too late, but then again, it’s easy to say with hindsight. All the best for him. He’s been a truly great player for several years.
Struggled with Trent leaving and the requirement to play deeper with his aging legs this season. Should have been managed smarter by Slot but Slot proving hes not that smart this season.
Must have been a hell of a deal for him to leave with that much money left in the contract.
