This was me after being called to daycare after another kid bit my kid for the hundredth time. My kid took off their shoe and beat the assailant about the head. Shit never happened again. Problem solved.

We’ve had to have conversations with our kid about the difference between what is right/wrong and what will get you in trouble. They’re not the same thing in a public school setting with overbearing disciplinarians and an underlying taint of christofascism.

I really enjoyed the bit at the start of Interstellar like this.
