It can be pretty jarring sometimes to read old comics and see how different values and thinking was at the time.
I know, right? Like, how is it “immoral” for the Snork Maiden to go swimming (or waterskiing) with someone she met at the beach?
I don’t know. Is it not critical of how materialistic she had suddently become?
If they were talking about wealth, I’d agree. But it’s pretty clear they’re referring to her going swimming.
