Looks like a solid model based on my limited testing. Though tool calls frequently fail with “JSON parse error” in longer sessions in OpenCode and llama.cpp. Hoping that will be addressed soon.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Silent Hill 1 Remake Goes Into Full ProductionEnglish
2·5 months agoI was worried this day would come. Silent Hill 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. I was hoping Konami would eventually give up and sell the IP instead of milking it with these cheap soulless remakes.

ADHD@lemmy.world•People with ADHD may have an underappreciated advantage: HypercuriosityEnglish
2·5 months agoI feel, for me at least, it’s more than just curiosity. Bottom up thinking makes you obsessively want to learn the deeper truth so you can build more generalized knowledge. For example, a neurotical student learning the Pythagorean theorem would simply memorize the formula which is easy and straightforward. Maybe if they’re curious enough they’d try to understand why it works. But for a bottom up thinker, memorizing the formula as a floating piece of knowledge is difficult. So they need to have a deeper understanding of the underlying principles in order to “ground” that knowledge.
My pet theory is that people with ADHD have to rely more on bottom up thinking to compensate for their weaker working memory. Having a deeper understanding of a subject makes things easier to remember and reason about. Kind of like how it’s easier to remember a phone number if you look for patterns within it. This “hypercuriosity” is an advantage in the same sense as wheelchair users have the advantage of having stronger arms.

Firefox@lemmy.ml•These buttons on my tabs REALLY piss me off, how do I turn them off ?
5·7 months agoWhat I’m saying is that I actually like the mute button and I don’t understand why some are so upset about it. Your post doesn’t help to clarify other saying you already have an addon that serves a similar purpose.

ADHD@lemmy.world•What's it like to switch from lisdexamfetamine to methylphenidate?English
2·8 months agoI’m lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse, but more recently switched to the generic version of it) and my son is on methylphenidate (Concerta). So I occasionally take Concerta just out of curiosity and because I’ve been contemplating switching to Concerta myself. For me, both feel very similar and I wouldn’t be able to know which one I took if I was given one at random. The effects from other factors such as sleep, diet, etc. are more significant than the kind of med I’m taking.

Been testing the the smaller one (Qwen3.5-35B-A3B) with OpenCode for the last couple of hours and I’m very impressed! Still too early to say for sure, but I may actually prefer it over gpt-oss-120b and qwen3-coder-next despite it being much smaller.
