Zwar noch nicht ganz fertig, aber das Buch “Am Anfang war das Huhn” von Sally Coulthard. Es zeigt auf, wie das Huhn die heutige Gesellschaft geprägt hat, vom Essen, der Verbreitung und auch den vielen Redewendungen. Meine Highlights bis jetzt:

• Es wird untersucht wie das Englishe Wort “Cock” zu “Penis” wurde und erklärt, wie ond weshalb daraus dann “rooster” noch entstand.
• Im Mittelalter wurde ein Hahn auf dem Scheiterhaufen verbrannt, da dieser ein Ei gelegt hat. Man hat gedacht, es sei unnatürlich oder Hexen seien ab Werk. Einiges später hat man dann herausgefunden, dass Hennen die Rolle vom Hahn übernehmen können, sollte dieser in der Gruppe fehlen. Dadurch verändert die Henne ihr Aussehen und kann z.B. auch laut krähen. Die Eierlegefunktionalität bleibt jedoch bestehen.

Wie gesagt noch nicht ganz fertig, aber wurde positiv überrascht.

Actually I think your right. I thought I required SteamLink to play on another machine. Thats on me for not checking properly! Will get back once I’ve tested it.

For me its also the fact, that keeping animals requires a lot of resouces, especially meat. So this is a really inefficient way to eat.

Instead of using crops that humans can eat, crops for animals are being used.

For me its much simpler to use and more straight forward. That being said, I feel like osmand allows you to be much more precise when selecting a route. But I havnt really used osmand that much

Very interesting. Im fortunate in that, Im not in a country that (so far) has not banned a technology I’m using. But definitely, people will always find a way to circumvent a ban.

Its usually somehow possible to evade such bans, but not every citizen knows about proxies and how to properly use them. So reducing its accessibility certainly hurts India.

I mean probably. But I have been using wayland with Gnome for quite some timw now. KDE was never my daily driver.

Then I have definitely used it! But I wasnt aware of its name. I mean, there are so many concepts, names, brands to lean and be aware of, when getting into Linux.

Dolphin is mentioned, never heard of it before. Seems like a interesting usecase. I personally never struggled to find something with search, though I usually use a file explorer.
