Ich würde zu nem refurbisheten HP Elitebook G10 raten. Ich habe selber seit jahren ein 845 G10 und es supportet Linux sehr gut. Fingerabdrucksensor und ir-cam funktionieren, genauso wie der DSP inclusive entsprechender profile für die Lautsprecher welche ziemlich gut sind für ein notebook. Und die Teile sind sehr robust. Meines ist sicher schon 3-4 mal aus ~1,5m Höhe gefallen (geschlossen), und bis jetzt ist der Rahmen nur etwas verzogen aber aktzeptabel. Außerdem kann ich alle steam games spielen welche steam-deck kompatibel sind.

Altersverifizierung ist in egal welcher Form inakzeptabel. Eltern sollten ggF. in der Lage sein eine gewisse Kontrolle über die Geräte ihrer Kinder zu haben (brauchte es bei mir auch nicht aber ok), aber jede Form von (verpflichtender) altersverifizierung im Netz ist abzulehnen. Es gibt hier keinen Sinnvollen weg welcher auch noch datensparsam ist.

Firmly against. I think banning of sources should only even be discussed if talking about sites spreading things like CSAM or (glorifying) depictions of violence like executions. Not because they spread opinion or even propaganda of any kind. I think people especially here are able to discern propaganda for themselves. And it needs to be possible to discuss it. Those outlets already shouldn’t profit off of the couple of clicks they receive because most people will be using an adblocker. And if they don’t, they really should.

It would be way more productive to just use an adblocker. And I’d kinda expect everyone to do so already.

Cooles Projekt aber ein riesiges Problem: Man braucht zwingend ein Überwachunbgsgerät um die App zu nutzen. Es gibt soweit ich das sehe keine richtige Linux Version. Nur ne nicht funktionierende Beta mit eingeshränktem Funktionsumfang. Und solche Software und Android stehen für mich in einem starken Widerspruch.
