Occupation of Gaza?

Occupation of Gaza?

Meanwhile…
The death toll in Sudan’s ongoing civil war is estimated to be significantly higher than previously reported, with studies suggesting that over 150,000 people may have died since the conflict began in April 2023. The majority of these deaths are attributed to violence, preventable diseases, and starvation, particularly affecting vulnerable populations in regions like Khartoum and Darfur.

Doesn’t get as much attention because why? Muslim on Muslim? Brown on Brown? And yet it involves (unlike Gaza) systemic targeting of civilians based on ethnicity.

Obvious? You ignore the definition.
For starters Genocide is killing of people, targeted by ethnicity. Do you think that Israel are such bad shots that they can only manage to kill 2½% of Gazans (⅓ of them militants) while ⅔ of Jews were killed in the Holocaust?
ProPals like Ireland are trying to change the legal definition of genocide in order to make the false equivalence.

Indeed. The dementia angle is a distraction. Not enough of them are getting his hot insider trading tips I suppose before each oscillation of the yo-yo.
He was ridiculed for a segment of his speech at West Point but it went for an hour and it was nowhere near as bad as Dems made it out to be.

Here in Australia I had the impression there were no primaries? TIL there were primaries
Senator Dorinda Cox called One Nation leader Pauline Hanson a “f—ing retard” in a text message leaked after she defected to Labor, showing the depth of anger toward her in the Greens
That’s petty of the Greens.
Albanese declared the senator’s departure was a sign the Greens had become an unrecognisable party after they blocked housing bills last term and focused heavily on the war in Gaza.
And yet she is the only Greens member to have publicly used the slogan “From the river to the sea…”.
Regardless of one’s stance on Gaza politics, Albo is being disingenuous. He is merely gloating about the defection.

Yeah it seems to merely be a business decision, less about a conscience and more about avoiding losing more anti-trust suits.

If no one server carries all the parts of a multi-part, is that a legal loophole?

And false RAT negatives are common but false positive RAT’s are rare but it happened to me once - I followed up a positive RAT with negative PCR.

Sorry, but him speaking off the cuff is what makes many prefer him to the choreographed politicians.
I thought he was rambling when I saw transcripts (eg that story about a nuclear physicist uncle about 5 years ago) but when you hear it you realise the style is natural. In real life we do not complete sentences if the message has gotten through already. MAGA think we are stupid for needing it all spelled out for us.
Then there is last week’s speech at West Point which Liberals were laughing at because he went off on a tangent about some rich friend whose wife cheated on him. Well I went to the full speech to have a laugh but found it was a whole hour (impressive speaking time) and this was in the middle. He tied the story back to the topic by the end. Most of it was not weird. I didn’t endure the whole hour but the troops loved it.
Similarly Libs think he is an idiot for his yoyo tariffs but he is happy for us to get distracted by the comedians while he profits from all the insider trading this enables. Instability is profitable when you are the one who can predict the rises and falls each week.
He is a buffoon but he definitely hams it up for advantage.

Will they use AI to insert him into scenes wearing a superhero outfit? That will get his attention.

Am not surprised. Would have required higher social standing for you to have such access ;)

The Eulogy Song is definitely still relevant…
Diana died with Arab semen on her dress?

People are not “placed” on the floor that is what you do with bags, boxes and rubbish. But that was the word used by the Northern Territory police to describe the sequence of events to the media.
Of all the things that went wrong the journalist leads the story with a criticism of the grammar? People are “placed” under arrest, placed first in a competition, placed in a job etc
Tragically, painfully, I think it says a lot.
Desperate for a hot take? Exploiting the tragic death for a literary career beyond journalism? I admit to not reading the article so maybe I am being too harsh - am sure someone here will tell me if so.

Well I find him funny but refuse to watch after his dinner with Trump.
Was getting tired anyhow of his fixation on pet topics: Millenials, Covid, wokeness, Gaza - it isn’t about his stance (I can laugh at my own team) but it was kind of the same jokes being rehashed year after year and they were beginning to sound more like rants…
OK I see what you meant with your comment.

That is what much of MAGA admire about him: that he is at least being up-front about it.
The stock market insider trading is something Democrats are guilty of too, I’m sure, but his manipulation via yoyo tariffs is probably seen by MAGA as him just doing it better.
And they would be laughing at how most of Liberal media seems to be oblivious to it, focusing instead on cheap laughs poking fun of how he can’t make up his mind. Comedians like Maher, Colbert and Stewart are especially suckers on this issue.
Am surprised his style hasn’t changed. I am not tired of the genre decades later though.
Also a little surprising the mainstream hasn’t adopted elements of it. I naively thought it would by now.

I followed the instructions. I don’t like those Arabic numerals so I used Roman instead.
Those points do not apply because there is no targeting.
UN clarifies that, in genocide, victims are targeted because of their real or perceived membership of a group, not randomly.
Why do you think Ireland is trying to expand the definition?
