    True, it depends of the person. Sometimes I’m talked to just so I do something.

    In my case, I prefer pleasantries and asked favour in the same message. Being at least recognized as a person and know what’s up ASAP. It faster for them anyway.

    Indeed. A support network increases a community survival and thrive. It’s also easier to help when you are Ok and helped too.

    As a society, we learned how to take care of the less able people (with every asterisk in the world, but at least the idea is there).

    As a society, I’d say not even the idea is there. There’s an increase of ableism and eugenics recently. Some prefer a dead child than a autistic child (re: vaccines, based of fake info)

    It is weird, but support when someone is dependent on caregivers is a gamble. If they aren’t lucky, no one takes care of them and just die of neglect, unnoticed. More lucky ones are taken care with a lot of love but insufficient resources, so lots of sacrifices are needed.
