Yea, it’s a sucky situation. At least they’re not actively investing into Yandex, it’s just a source (like Google) for the search results. Though since it’s a paid service, the most likely way to make em stop is to express your displeasure and vote with your wallet, and if enough people do that then it’ll cost less to stop using Yandex than it does to ignore unhappy (potential) customers
I wish I could be willfully ignorant, life would be so much simpler if I wasn’t aware of all of the clustertrucks, and wouldn’t be thinking further ahead than my next meal… But alas, suffering it is

Oh boy, make sure you’ve got tissues at hand. It’s a beautiful game though, enjoy!
I’m glad to hear that, hopefully she’ll recover well and be happy and healthy
Can do. I’m not sure what’s unclear, so I’ll cover my bases.
Endometriosis - as part of the period cycle, the layer of the womb’s walls that’s inside (endometrium) thickens, ready to take a fertilised egg, but if there’s no egg (or none in time) make itself a cozy home among that lining, then it sheds, and is ejected from the body along with blood during periods. Endometriosis is a disease where that lining starts to grow elsewhere outside the uterus, most commonly around it, but can end up all over the body, even inside lungs or growing on skin. And, of course, it makes periods quite a bit more painful. Current estimate is that it affects 10 percent of menstruating people, yet it’s regularly misdiagnosed or the diagnosis is delayed, leading to years (if not a lifetime) of pain. This article is a good read on the troubles with endometriosis.
The research about its effect on men or another one about how endometriosis affects the sexual wellbeing of men - even though over the recent couple of years there’s been an increase in the number of studies on endometriosis, it’s upsetting to people that instead of focusing on better diagnosis, care, alleviation, etc, people are still looking into “but what about the men 🥺”. Not to mention the biased / lacking variety selection of participants for existing research. This all ties into medical misogyny and women’s concerns being consistently dismissed (see more below).
On period pain - this article is a good read (anti-paywall proxy), but in a nutshell, it is so “normal” that people have pain during periods that people just suffer in silence, or are dismissed when they do try to seek help. There are some materials (example, example) online, though even official materials can downplay period pain, which is just an example how normal and systemic it is, though one should not be surprised as half report their symptoms/concerns being dismissed. Which also ties into endometriosis, since it can increase the painfulness of periods, to the point of being debilitating. Not to mention the general dismissal of people’s pain in gynecology, what with for example medical professionals underestimating pain and just not offering pain medication.
On the cervix - things have gotten better in gynecological care in more recent years, though there’s still a lot of room to grow. In Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), Kinsey’s group wrote that the surface of the cervix is “the most completely insensitive part of the female genital anatomy.” based on a reaction to a gentle stroking by a probe. And then, it was taught to doctors for years, decades, and some healthcare providers still keeping to the old beliefs. It’s obviously wrong (ex. a neat read on cervix and pleasure), but what do you expect, the doctors no longer use the word “hysteria”, but medical misogyny is sufficiently embedded that just slapping on a generic diagnosis is a thing.
Did that clarify things for you or is there something more you’d like to know?

For anyone wanting an actual answer, it depends - for game dev, there’s Godot and unreal game engines (and a whole bunch more, but these two are good to look into imo), and both have hundreds of videos, myriad of tutorials, examples and public projects galore.
For web stuff, there’s freeCodeCamp, they’ve been around for a long time and are great.
For more academic perspective, there’s stuff on edX, essentially Harvard and other universities putting their lectures online for free (you can “audit” for free on edX, pay for diploma or certificate or whatever), or if feeling like sleuthing there’s a whole bunch of other sites with materials and courses, but they tend to be a bit spread around.
There’s also Make (as in Makezine.com), wikihow, and the good ol’ poke at things and see what happens approaches - search for “best framework for X” where X is what you want to do, go to their documentation or site, and follow the quick starts or tutorials.
On a side note, menstrual cramps are supposed to feel, at most, like sore muscles after a workout (probably since they’re essentially getting a non-stop workout for a week). Sharp, especially debilitating, pain is a cause for concern and should be addressed, however doctors usually don’t care (plenty still think the cervix doesn’t feel pain), and medical research is notoriously behind, case in point the relatively recent study that looked into how endometriosis affects the male partners of the person having periods.
Amazing, GOTY right there, can’t wait for a Steam discount in 2-5 business years

Can you be 100% certain that someone doesn’t consider salmon as currency? Since the automated teller machine is for giving out currency after all

It’s not that simple. People seem to be so focused on just the diet they forget about the bigger picture. Starting from healthcare, which is notoriously bad in the US, all the way to community, which studies have shown to be directly related to improved health (again, weaker in the US, stronger in Japan).
Even if just focusing on the diet, two people in the US and in Japan could have the exact same diet yet have different health outcomes, due to the poorer food quality and safety standards in the US (not even gonna go into food deserts and pollution which are a whole other thing).

That’s why I appreciate the few and far between sites that have a banner… That’s just “we don’t track or nuffin’, see here what we do”, so it’s clear that they’ve considered, any potential scripts did load successfully, and they’re hopefully not lying

How about “turds of a feather float together”? You know, like the surprise log at pool

Russia and the US really are two sides of the same coin when it comes to weird nationalism, huh

But that’s what these AI bros want. Personal growth? Being challenged? That’s for plebs, real alphas only have yes-men and endless platitudes
I actually some time ago listened to a podcast (can’t remember the name) where the guy had his little daughter (like preschool) rate his dad-ness on different scales by just drawing a line on the paper and asking her to put her finger on it to show her rating. Though it was apparently biased because that morning the dad had made the daughter brush her hair. In any case, he took sub-millimeter measurements, did the math, and ended up with a number just like that… Which he ofc printed on a mug 😁

Exactly! Now you’re getting it 😁
Guns and bombs are dangerous tools that cause death at a mass scale. In normal countries, they’re regulated. AI is a tool, and can be used to cause death at a mass scale. In normal countries, it should be regulated as well.
