It’s the biggest bubble in history because corporate leadership consistently falls for the reification fallacy.
So-called “AI” (specifically, large language models) are massively-multidimensional maps of human language use. They can be used to draw humanlike vectors through the phase space of all possible combinations of symbols, but they aren’t intelligent because human intelligence doesn’t come from the use of language. Rather, language comes from intelligence.
For real, finding clothes that fit an enby like me is a nightmare.

I’m 100% confident that Greenland could repel a U.S. invasion based on nothing more than the fact that the U.S.A. has never fought a war in arctic conditions. It’d be like trying to invade Russia in wintertime.

Looks like it, Steam’s work on gaming for Linux has been instrumental.

I’m pretty sure illegally withholding state funding is also a serious crime.
Couldn’t be me, trying every day to strike the right balance between a masc and femme presentation. XD

Seems like the kind of situation that sandblasters were invented for. They’ve even got ones that use dry ice as their abrasive so they won’t leave any grit behind in those holes.

A report from an Israeli defense publicatiom says it’s “capable of 100kW of power focused on a spot the diameter of a coin at a distance of 10km”
So, definitely not an anti-satellite weapon from the ground, or even high-atmosphere, but it ought to work if they mounted one to another satellite.
That said, there’s no such thing as a defensive-only weapon. Laser weapons can be deadly to people too, and even at a fraction of their rated power output they could blind people instantly.
The tiki torches aren’t really part of the shadowy plots so much as they are secondhand effects of the staggering inequality. The top-heavy hierarchy of wealth demands its attendant true-believers, who also tend to have other inequitable feelings about how things ought to be.
