Seconded for manjaro. It’s the only distro I tried recently (fedora, endeavor, Ubuntu, opensuse) that got the Nvidia drivers correct right away without any trouble. Solid distro
2·2 years agoA few years ago, I devoured the Ascendant series by K Arsenault Rivera. Basically a soft magic universe based on Mongolian and Chinese mysticism set in a different world, but the parallels are pretty obvious. The main focus is the sapphic romance between the two leads, but It does a good job of mixing world building, epic battles and military maneuvers, demons and magic, and relationships. I highly recommend it.
You can get an HP printer without much worry. Games are pretty easy but pirates games are trickier since they might rely on some cracks that are hard to replicate (not my forte). If they are older, you could run them in a virtual machine without much difficulty. I recommend getting a simple Linux mint in a virtual box to see if you like it.
