Or worse (maybe it’s just me) it will update but leave my alarm on silent.

Mlem for Lemmy@lemmy.ml•[ APP STORE UPDATE ] Mlem for Lemmy 1.1English
4·2 years agoThanks for the response, that totally makes sense.
I found the feature for memmy here , which calls all hide requests on refresh, which is fine for the user but like you said problematic for Lemmy.
Anecdotally I have noticed lots of empty fetches on refresh since they added it, only fixed by changing the sort options.

Mlem for Lemmy@lemmy.ml•[ APP STORE UPDATE ] Mlem for Lemmy 1.1English
5·2 years agoThanks, just found out about this (been using memmy). I like the feel of mlem a lot more, only thing holding me back is hide on scroll feature.
Anyone know if there are plans for this or did I miss it in settings?

THE POLICE PROBLEM@lemmy.world•Lawsuit: Paramedics waited outside while man had fatal heart attack, because Seattle Police had flagged the address as 'dangerous' when a previous tenant lived thereEnglish
8·2 years agoThe ****lawsuit had the best outcome for everyone, especially future families.
I could see certain accessibility settings of cars such as color blind settings, bold text, even physical personalization ordered for the car based on hereditary or not genetic conditions falling into that category.
Some companies will find that information useful for ads I suppose.

Technology@lemmy.ml•A week in, Threads has lost half of its active users
8·3 years agoDo you know how this works? I understood if you have Instagram a threads account is already created for you, but is it the App Store location you downloaded from or IP or user set location?
The only time Elon musk shows up on my lemmy feed is from enoughElonSpam…

News@lemmy.world•Hollywood writers and actors are striking together for first time since 1960—here’s why
1·3 years agoI think that’s kinda the problem, plug and play content will be super easy to generate, which is what many streaming services seem to be prioritizing (production cost to engagement ratio)
Long tap on iPhone - Haptic Touch I mean

wefwef@lemmy.world•wefwef is so good it should be an app and not a web appEnglish
71·3 years agoI can’t believe how well it runs on iPhone, way smoother than the Mlem TestFlight app. I think this wasn’t an option for Reddit 3pa because once you try to monetize, if it’s not on the App Store you’re getting steamrolled. Anyways since that doesn’t seem to be an issue here it seems like a great solution.
Would be interested to hear from the devs how they plan to expand in the future.

Well
I guess OP said 10,000 / 3,000,000 = 1/300 = .33% so a bit lower but maybe 3 Million is approximate?
Google says 2.048 population so 1/204.8 which is 0.48%
