Life can be a real bastard, I’m sorry you’ve been struggling. The thoughts of a stranger probably aren’t very comforting, but I hope things get better for you. I hate that the system so often robs us of the energy needed to create beautiful things.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's a piece of Media that is so underrated you must mention it?
3·1 month agoI couldn’t agree more. Dude writes a book about how the greatest human achievement is empathy and how it can redeem us for the evils we commit in ignorance, and then says that all queer people secretly wish they were “normal”. Just a reminder we all need to examine ourselves for bias I guess.

This is great! I took a look through your other posts and I love your style, it feels very alive. It’s reassuring these days to warm ourselves with the flame of human creativity. Thank you for sharing!
Different strokes for different folks I guess. I consider doing dumb stuff with your friends when you’re a kid to be one of life’s greatest joys
From what I understand, it’s more like a Garry’s Mod type game. Just a sandbox that let’s you build fun and/or dumb stuff to do with your friends. I’ve never played but I understood the appeal after it was explained to me that way.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•After years of hearing about it, I finally started playing Timberborn. Great chill city builder.
8·11 months agoI loved Timberborn, great game with a fun twist compared to the rest of the genre. I’d also recommend Bannerlords and Foundation, I had a blast with both of those as well.

Another big issue imo was the fact that the boost was found a couple months before the tournament and they asked other teams/streamers to not use it on stream until after the tournament, which just feels scummy all around
