There should be 5 posts per day per user be default for Lemmy as a whole. It’s really irritating when my feed is back to back garbage from anyone, not or otherwise. Some people need to touch grass

I wouldn’t mind if Reddit comments like “Put glue on your pizza to help the cheese stick” were wiped off the face of the earth. It would be better than shoveling it into an LLM so it can be the output for search queries.

This for the technical reasoning.
Companies also just don’t want people to own anything, they want everyone to pay a subscription for everything forever.

The punchline is that the guy hiding is hallucinating the recruiters. Companies aren’t actually hiring anyone for these jobs, they’re just posting them online to make it seem like they are.

I feel like a hypocrite and a loser.
I don’t think you’re a loser, you have a valid point. It is a genuine issue. Check out this fucked up shit.
I would prefer equality over stifling content, however. Put the men in skimpy outfits and give them jiggle physics. Optionally make it possible to tone it down.

The vibe of people thinking LLMs have free will
This. I had an issue a couple months ago. I posted on the distro’s form with a much info as I could provide and some real smart people gave me a ton of help really quickly.
Knowing how to ask and not being abrasive is really helpful.

The underlying mechanics of modern LLMs does not enable the models to have intelligence in any sense of the word. Any comparison to a fictional AI character is laughable at best. This is just a PR stunt.
I also haven’t seen any of the movies being referenced.

Comparing this to Skynet feels like an insult to Skynet, lol.

Here you go. 🙂

Of course! That’s why I keep thinking about being spitroasted. Obviously. Why else would I think that? Of course I don’t actually want to do that. Why would I? Just work stress. Clearly.
All good, already spent it 👍

The video complaining about slop is sponsored by slop. Ironic.
Pretty good video, though.

Will Smith eating spaghetti with his hands.

<Insert shocked pikachu face here>
I mean in terms of video containers, webm is a video container made by the same or adjacent team that made webp. The only other video container I’ve seen that supports transparency is HEVC, which only works in safari.
Transparency is the only reason I’d ever use webm, just to clarify.

What topic?
Seems like a refreshing treat in summer and it’s hot as shit.
