It does have baking powder and baking soda in it. The cake does in not taste sour, there is a subtle tang to it but that is mostly masked by the strawberrry purée. I made this with sourdough discard about 24 hours after feeding, I usually feed mine once a day unless its in the refrigerator.

For some reason I feel like this should be adjusted for inflation. Now this isn’t any better but $162,000 adjusted for inflation would have been roughly $296,288 and some change in 2023. That’s still well over a 470% increase, if my bad math is not bad today. I was lucky enough to buy one as a Millennial back in 2019 before houses started to skyrocket but this is just absolutely asinine.
Das a sweet bike!!
No I think there was something on my camera lens, I took 4 shots of this and all of them had this 😖

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's a process where you prefer the old way of doing things instead of how it's done now?
4·8 months ago3000% honesty, you are right. It is a waste, using a good manual can opener is far more satisfying. Like the electricity needed for the electric one is miniscule at best but its still wasted since it rakes 10 seconds to open one with a manual. I get people who are differently abled and need these, but the average person gets no real value from an electric one.

61·10 months agoActually went to an AMC a few days ago to see that new Wes Anderson film. There were A LOT of previews (trailers), like what i would consider an excessive amount, with some ads sprinkled in. Reminded me why I don’t go to the movies 😒
The movie was great BTW, 10/10 enjoyed.

51·10 months agoI was also very confused, wtf is a ping file. I do a ping, its not a file, it’s an IMCP request. A P-N-G is a file, am I just doing some boomer shit?
This is too real for my 35 y/o self.
Absolutely revolutionary creams in pants I have never before witnessed this level of utter genius before in my entire 30 some odd years of existence. I was right in front of us checks notes this entire time and we were blinded by our own hubris.
TLDR; Nature finds a way.

Another +1 for Against the Storm. Timberborn also released recently and I lost a good bit of time to it. Timberborn has the sandbox build with multiple layers, and problem solving since you have to control water flow during three seasons (Wet, drought, tainted water) and manage resources.
