Spiders for the simple fact that I have been “conditioned” by my mothers behaviour to fear them, cause she freaked out at the sight of even the tiniest one.

The only reason I dislike chihuahuas is their behavior within the realm of a domesticated animal.

Don’t blame the animal, blame the owners who fail to properly train them and let most troubling behaviour slip because “Isn’t it cute? 😍”. Now imagen the same behaviour from a dog 7 times its size and 20 times the weight. In essence most Chihuahuas are spoiled brats with a enabling parents.

No, I don’t feel like my job is full filling. Would I switch though? No. Why?

• The companies culture is overall great
• I feel valued and supported

So why is the job not full filling? Because I dislike and borderline hate the industry we are in: Marketing/Ads. Probably only next to fossil fuels the reason why the world we live in today sucks.

Could I go elsewhere with my skillset? Certainly. But having had terrible employers with whos’ products I could somewhat identify with before, I came to the conclusion that it’s not necessarily most important what you do but with who.

AFAIK even that wouldn’t have been unsolvable problems for Greeks and Romans.

However why put all the effort into this machinery when you can simply put more slaves to work? One driving factor for the Industrial Revolution was the issue of having to pay people actual wages instead of being able to force them to work. This added incentives to reduce manual labor and replace them with something owners can force to work without paying it: Machines.

So eh, obviously you survived. But what about the rest?

Ich denke nicht, dass das Steam betreffen wird, da:

das Alter von Kunden nicht länger beim Bestellen auch von nicht verschreibungspflichtigen Medikamenten und Drogerieprodukten zu erheben.

Bei verschreibungspflichtigen Medikamenten muss also weiterhin besondere Sorgfalt walten, damit das Zeug nicht einfach bei den Kids landet. Entsprechend denke ich, dass es im Fall von Steam legitim ist, bei 18+ Spielen zu fragen, ob man überhaupt volljährig ist.

Dass natürlich jeder einfach 1970.01.01 als Geburtstag angeben kann und die Daten nicht überprüfbar sind, ist ein anderes Problem.

Also aus Addis Zeit stammen auch so Sachen wie Stukkas mit Sturzflugautomatik und zielsuchende Torpedos. Da geht was!
