What doesn’t these days?

What doesn’t these days?
Very close, they believe that’s just the way of the world and nothing can be done to fix it
We use to have a different term for that before WWII. I believe we called it appeasement

It will never stop astonishing me how actually vanilla I am in terms of my sexual proclivities proportional to the rest of the population.

Even the most diehard Apple haters I’ve encountered will readily admit that Mac trackpads are the shit. It’s not even an opinion it’s just a fact
Especially in the time and place we all currently occupy

Atomization has been the most insidious parts of all this unfolding
If Jericho could catch he’d have already done this in the ring

He’s also just a petty little cry baby on top of all those reprehensible things, an irredeemable waste of life that’s detrimental to all other life. Truly the bottom of the barrel

Can we please stop pussyfooting around and call this all WW3 already? Or do we have to wait for China to to enter the fray militarily? Or is this like a champagne thing where it’s not a world war if Germany and France aren’t directly involved? So this is just a sparkling global conflict!

Ironically this is the one use case I can come up with that would prevent me from judging someone using them

The insane proliferation of procedural crime investigations shows like Law and Order and its derivatives like Criminal Minds has fucked up the perception of so much in society about crime and law enforcement. It’s almost a step beyond copadanga, not only is it presenting the police as the good guys standing between average people and the criminal underworld, but all crime is committed by seedy evil asocial villains. It’s full on cultic worship of the US “justice system”
This would be ideal but in my personal experience with my parents and their peers, who are all in their early 70s, is even if you can convince them to agree on the class war they almost universally will state they’ll be dead soon with the implication being it’s not their problem

This could end up being a huge mistake, healthcare is one of the linchpins keeping a lot of Americans from revolting or at minimum from walking off their jobs

I’m not holding my breath

That’s another starting spot I don’t disagree with, there’s a lot of through lines that could be traced back even to things like the business plot or even the founding of the John Birch Society

I’d argue that the government itself has been in revolt against the constitution since when Gingrich took over Congress, but a valid argument can be made for it starting with Reagan

I’m still stuck inside and the amount of people doing the ostrich head in the sand thing is un-fucking-real, got told by a former friend just this last week that they were just trying to “live their life” and couldn’t handle all the negativity.
I don’t even know what to say to that

Every moment people at work talk about how excited they are to retire in 20 years, or how happy they are to have hit their deliverables this quarter
Collapsing empires express a lot of similar symptoms
