  • Yes, the Swedish diesel electric subs are really quiet and hard to detect in a war game scenario, but that is done with many artificial constraints to the defending CSG, which is tightly packed in a relatively small patch of ocean that the Swedish sub knew and could plan for.

In reality those subs are stealthy only while traveling at 6 knots and the CSG can travel at 30 over vast expanses of water, with an effective strike range of 2000 miles.

Also, in war they’re allowed to use high energy sonars that they can’t use in a war game because it kills marine animals, which will detect a turd floating 500 miles away (exaggerating here but you get the idea).

  • Bombings will continue until morale improves. I love how people act like this is somehow a new thing but US has been doing this for like 100 years, nothing new at all.

Russia saw a weakness in Ukraine and took it, the US did damage control there.

Russia responded with the Gaza attack so that the US have to divert weapons to Israel.

The US responds with Venezuela and Cuba. Meanwhile, in Africa, Russia and US are arming opposing factions for some old school skirmishes.

China has entered the chat there too with some economic strategies initially and weaponry flowing in soon.

If TSMC ramps up their chips production in the US on the latest nodes, Taiwan is no longer of use to the US and it falls to China.

The US will take the opportunity and take Cuba and maybe Greenland

EU does nothing, might even be completely destabilized, unless Germany decides to wake up the beast and then who knows how that’ll go. My guess is right. Far right.

  • So I got a job at this company back in the day that did phone and email customer service for other companies.

I was one of the last people they ever hired. Me and 7 other people were shown to our cubicles that had brand new Dell sff computers and peripherals in their boxes.

We were told the IT guys were off or on sick leave and I offered to try and set the machines up at least to save time. With the help of the others we plugged everything in and then kinda sat there all day doing nothing.

Next day we all show up for work and we see people carrying boxes out of the building. Turns out the owner was neck deep in debt and just dissappeared, people were told they shouldn’t be expecting any more paychecks or bother suing.

Basically the manager told everyone to just sort of take whatever they want home and everyone just took their work PC home. Me and 7 other people basically got a free PC for half a day’s work, others got shafted though…

All I’m trying to say here is maybe DON’T SELL NUCLEAR AIRCRAFT CARRIER REACTORS to private companies that are 100% going to go tits up soon when yet another tech bubble bursts and those reactors end up being sold on AliExpress?
