Saying It’d be easier to discuss in person comes off as “I can’t legally put this in writing because it’s against your contract” and not “this is hard to word/explain.” Lol. This is straight PR shit.

I think that is generally the point?
Often Americans point to china as big bad for shit America is actively doing as well, while pretending America is so great. They both fucking suck. They both want to be the major super power and to do so they both do horrible shit to their own people, people in other countries, entire other countries, both extremely capitalistic, etc.

1·3 years agoIt definitely isn’t for everyone, but it is a very solid game. Especially for the $4 they’re charging on sale.

18·3 years agoRude to list transistor and hades but not Pyre
Pyre is basically Fantasy NBA Jam with a visual novel story that adapts to if you win or lose. Very good story. Very good art. Very good music. Very good game.

3·3 years agoTo be fair I think they had decent reason to be fired. Seemed they basically had left the company to attempt to make it on their own, leaving those who just had to make the Final Cut without them to get fucked. Not to mention legit trying to take source code. You also mentioned not covering the financials, but the video can’t really go much into the financial situation as that is all under litigation so they’re not going to get much out of it. I mean hell the creators being like “what I had no idea this new company, of which I am an owner, was created at all.” Seems…. Impossible? But yeah, that part will have to wait for court.
Overall my opinion is everyone sucks other than the team still working there who had nothing to do with it. The creators selling their IP was a poor choice if they wanted to try and leave the company and make their own. Consolidating the company I mean, yeah dick move I guess but to be expected of an investor when something proves to be a success.
There are a few different games like PoE that I think are amazing for who they are made for. Eve online, super great for those who wanna do their job… but in SPAAACE. PoE great for people who like way too ridiculous customization in their ARPG. Guild Wars 2 I think is probably the best server example tho. That shit been down for something stupid like 24 hours combined in US+EU (dunno about China) total over 10+ years. Also definitely has its niche in MMO you can pick back up after 6 days, 6 months, or 6 years and you’ll still be good with some minimal effort. Basically the opposite of PoE I feel.

2·3 years agoI could understand forced online for ladder ranking I guess? But that should be opt in. I could understand seamless online/offline since they’re trying to make it seem more like an MMO. But kicking people off or getting hardcore characters killed because your servers go down is something I thought they already learned and yet lol. Nope.
Up until before FFXVI launched? Probably. Now they’re for sure moving away from PS4 though. You can still get recent games on it but going forward I wouldn’t expect much.

Newsom? I guess? Though I suppose he will run next cycle when his term as governor is up.
