Pretty much everything wrong with Democrats is as bad or worse with Republicans. On the other hand, the Republican establishment did not want Trump to be nominated in 2016 any more than the Democrats wanted Sanders. It’s up for debate if they were less heavy handed in manipulating the process, or if they were just more incompetent.

What? Bill Clinton is more responsible than anyone but maybe Reagan for the gutting of the middle class. The Clinton’s set us on this path. Hillary’s only real track record is on foreign policy, and her positions there reflect the absolute worst aspects of American arrogance and interventionism.

The Clinton’s and the rest of the Democratic establishment are responsible for destroying the underlying social fabric that would have made any of what you want possible. They are also diametrically opposed to a “fair” primary. Democrats have near 100% control over their own primary process, and the whole thing is rigged to maximize their ability to manipulate voters through their domination of media.

What I want is is social libertarianism. What I’d settle for is an FDR progressive. My bare acceptable minimum is liberal democracy. What the Democrats are is ineffective illiberal elitist technocrats.

I agree that weapons have no place at peaceful protests. They just make it more likely that fascists will kill protesters.

On the other hand, not all resistance can be nonviolent. Demand whatever you want but, if they know there is no credible “or else” clause, then protest is just noise.

The constitution supercedes every other law of the land so, unless the constitution says the 2nd amendment only applies to citizens, any law excluding them would be unenforceable.

Some limitations like the need for a firearms owner ID card have been ruled constitutional, but those laws can’t randomly exclude groups of people.

I do what I can, and that includes calling out posters who sound like they are encouraging violence that will both hurt the cause and get more good people killed. Maybe consider the clarity of your comments going forward if that’s not what you intend to communicate.
