I actively avoid products and services that are advertised to me.

I had problems with the desktop app fyi. But i run multiple accounts across many services so i recently started using Ferdium, which runs web apps in containerized sandboxes. Its very useful for managing multiple accounts on the same service. Ferdium also has the option to work completely locally with no account needed. It is very nice.

Amazon stated that their detection/moderation has very low tolerance so there was a lot of borderline/false positives in their reports…

In the end though, it seems like all of Amazon’s reports were completely inactionable anyways because Amazon couldn’t even tell them the source of the scraped images.

When i hear stuff like this, it always makes me wonder if the material is actual explicit exploitation of a minor, or just gross anime art scraped from 4chan and sketchy image boards.

Why are the I’s dotted? Is it implying that they are lowercase when all other letters are capitalized? Why is the dot higher up than the top of the capital letters, like its some kind of accent?
