I use Fedora and a MacBook Pro and I still had a better time than him.
Just a weirdly mystical asshole looking for meaning in the meaningless, silence in the jumble of voices, sight in darkness, finding the rhythm in chaos.

Just bought one of these today, glad to know I’m not totally screwed. It’s a nice little phone for the money, kind of a downgrade coming from a OnePlus Nord N30 where the screen came unglued from the case.

Yes, thank you! Ubuntu, in my opinion, is not a beginner friendly experience. It also tends to break easily, at least in my opinion. I’ve had ongoing problems with Ubuntu, as soon as I installed Fedora all the problems went away.

People are fucking assholes, I just have to take it in stride and block liberally.

A Nurse in a shitty New York hospital…
Fuck.

it’s done!

Gnome is where the heart is for me! It’s just so customizable, the extension framework is such a cool concept. And yes, I know, KDE has a lot of bells and whistles, and I think think that’s why I dislike it. It’s cluttered, Gnome is simple. I like the polish and the smoothness, KDE is nice for people who want more but I’m happy with less. Thanks for coming to my TED talk!

I wish more people used Loops, I think the idea of federated TikTok not bound by bullshit is a great idea!

Same. I used to like the thrill of shit breaking at the drop of a fart, but now I just want something that runs a good markdown compatible writing software.
This just completely horrified a whole table of people. Con-fucking-gratulations. Bravo.

What the Hell happens if you have neither?

Can one just remove GSF and bypass this? Or is it something going to be built into Android going forward? Genuinely curious.
They give me a weird mouth feel, kinda tingling and burning.

Most fucking underrated comment on this site, OMG…

I manage to find the issue, it was my USB drive. The machine is currently humming along with Fedora 42, I’m just now installing Nvidia drivers.

It turned out to be my crappy, no name USB. All OSes boot fine now, even 64-bit. I love when computer shit is simple.
Linux wins the day, viva la Tux!

All checked but I am going to try a different USB.

Original in as far as I can tell.
I just picked up the 2S and have no (current) complaints. Granted, I don’t do much other than writing, so mmmv.
