Also, even if it’s accurate, I don’t see how “whites” (which has always been a malleable term) being marginally overrepresented in some subset of crime statistics is worth anyone’s attention at this point. How is this of value to anyone except white supremacists trying to pretend their ideology is supported by facts?
Man, I’ve tried repeatedly to get into Fallout 4. I’m always stymied by the lackluster dialogue. Inevitably, I lose my motivation to play, and end up uninstalling it. It just doesn’t have what I’m looking for, in terms of story, characterization, and immersion. I was a big fan of the first two, and have fond memories of 3 and New Vegas, but I doubt I’ll be buying another Fallout game from Bethesda.

I read the article. It’s not the best prose, but it’s well-sourced, and I didn’t detect any falsehoods. The article doesn’t excuse or condone, and least of all does it encourage, violence toward Jews. It simply describes, among other things, prevailing attitudes toward Israel, and the actions thereof, among Canadian Jews.
Accurately describing the attitudes held by Canadian Jews toward Israel does not constitute anti-Semitism. Identifying as a Jew does not give anyone a free pass to support genocide without being subject to criticism.
Claiming that criticism of Zionism will inevitably lead to anti-Semitism is transparently fallacious. Zionism is a political ideology, not a religion or an ethnicity. Based on the available data, conflating Zionism with Judaism will only serve to increase anti-Jewish sentiment in Canada, and presumably elsewhere. If that isn’t your goal, you’re going about things the wrong way.
Maybe, maybe not. I don’t know how to make that determination definitively, nor is it clear to me that it matters one way or the other. There seems to be plenty of evidence to suggest that many people would make the same arguments that they do. Normally, I just downvote their shit takes, and go on with my day, but occasionally I feel moved to comment, and so I have.
Zionism isn’t a religion. Zionism != Judaism. Zionists != Jews. People are responsible for their own political beliefs and advocacy. They aren’t an immutable trait. Conflating Zionism and Judaism is anti-Semitic. Painting all critics of Zionist ideology as anti-Semites is, in itself, anti-Semitic.
By pretending all criticism of the Israeli government is directed at Jewish people in general, you are playing into the hands of both Netanyahu, and white supremacists. People who support genocidal regimes deserve criticism. Just as Muslims would rightly be criticized if they proclaimed their support for ISIL/ISIS, and Christians for any number of heinous crimes committed under Christian auspices, so too Jewish people are not immune from criticism for supporting genocide, purely on the basis of their religion or ethnicity.
Is neonazi infiltration of leftist spaces under the cover of anti-Zionism a problem? Of course, and it’s one that requires constant vigilance to detect and defeat. But that’s not what I see you doing daily, across the fediverse. Instead, you habitually conflate criticism of Israel’s genocidal actions with attacks on Jewish people in general, and by doing so, you only further the agenda of those who want everyone to make the same associations.

Oh, I was just referencing a bad movie podcast that has frequently mentioned that movie. One of the hosts repeatedly recommended Castle Freak, and claimed that the freak ripped off his own ding-dong. This was subsequently disputed by listeners, and one of the other hosts.
At one point, one of the show’s listeners tweeted at Stuart Gordon, asking if the freak ripped off his own ding-dong. Stuart Gordon responded, simply, “No.” However, Jonathan Fuller, who played the titular freak, provided the show an autographed picture on which he wrote, “I ripped it off myself!” So the matter still pends.

I unironically love Congo. I probably still quote Delroy Lindo’s character like once a week, on average.
I mean, it’s currently at number 50 on Wikipedia’s list of wars by death toll (out of 130 listed conflicts). I feel like that might qualify as one of the most destructive, but it’s obviously a subjective description.
Also, at the time, it would have been quite a bit higher on the list.

Yeah… I pay attention to UK politics mostly to avoid hyper focusing on depressing domestic politics, and it’s devastating to see Labor shit the bed the way they have.

Anyway, that’s my half-assed perspective from listening to Pod Save the UK, the Bugle, and reading the occasional article.
This is not a thing at any apartment complex I’ve lived in or visited in the south/southeastern US. Also, if you’re renting a house that doesn’t already have a charger installed, it doesn’t make any sense to buy an EV.
Not arguing that it isn’t solvable, but for many people, the infrastructure just isn’t currently extant, nor is the political will to solve the problem.
