You just assumed I’m a centrist because I expect politicians to be respectful of each other? Holy shit dude there is something wrong with your moral compass. Respecting people and disagreeing with them are not mutually exclusive.

What Obama said was not entirely true to Robert’s personality and actions, but that is beside the point.

The point is that some people have decorum and are good speakers. Some people, even if they don’t mean it, are respectful of the dead, even if they don’t deserve it.

And some manchildren have none of that. The day that man baby dies I probably won’t have any decorum either.

If your medication is not helping with the lows then you are not responding to that medication. You are NOT doing better. Sometimes finding the right medication is a years long journey, and sometimes what you think is the problem isn’t the problem at all - it is a symptom, not the cause.

I’ll reinforce my previous statements. Continue talking to your doctor and let them know that your medication is NOT working.

I pray that you find the medication that works for you sooner rather than later.

I would argue not to hide finances like that, especially if it is a joint account or somebody else’s money. Be transparent with them - “I am withdrawing X amount for a present for you. I hope you look forward to it.” Presents are not about the surprise but receiving something that somebody you really care about put a lot of thought into.

It may be slower, but they think it is cheaper, thereby making it more profitable. These idiots only see short term profit and don’t care about the long term health of the company or the economy.

I trust the currency, not the people who are trying to abuse and break it.

I’ll assume you mean antidepressants when you say “psych med journey”.

I’ve been on many different medications over the years, and I’ve come to realize that these medications do not actually normalize you. They only shift the window. They do not suddenly make you feel better. They make the highs marginally higher and slightly more frequent while making the lows moderately less worse and significantly less frequent.

If you find that you are unhappy less often then they are working as intended. Whether you are happy more frequently is only a cherry on top. With that said, you should talk to your psychiatrist or psychologist if you still have concerns. These are good questions to have and you should share them with your doctor.

The main branch should always contain working code. You should assume you can deploy it to production and it will work. Not having anybody review your code is lunacy, and ignoring critical feedback is even more insane. You can ignore linting complaints assuming you don’t have a linter that fails the build, but you should not consider faulty business logic as an optional fix.

Not to undermine your point either, but there are autistic people who don’t want or can’t have neighbors. There are very real and valid reasons for single family homes to exist. They don’t even need yards - just have a foot or two buffer between walls, as long as they arent touching.

That is generally the approach I use, but some games take a bit more setup. I play StarCraft2 for Archipelago and I needed to install it with this app to get the proper script to get it to run successfully. What this app has that Steam doesn’t is the ability for people to create, export, and share custom install and launch profiles for others to use.

With that said I will need to see what Heroic Launcher has to offer.

It sounds like the dev that spoke out had a head on their shoulders and didn’t throw blame around. I respect that a lot and hope their game gets some good sales.
