Noup, not a mood thing. People are just inherently annoying. Best one can achieve is neutrality, by negatives and positives balancing each other out.

7·1 day agoIt’s not the printers themselves that are evil. They were just made this way by their overlords.
I’ve never understood that point. Home cooked meals are cheaper than fast food or ready made meals or just junk food.
Buckwheat, rice, pasta, potatoes, oats can be bought in bulk and are one of the cheapest components. Unflavored lean meats are rather cheap as well, cheaper than candy bars per KG/lbs. Buying those on a sale, separating packages out for portions and throwing in the freezer.
Greens (cucumber, paprika, tomatoes) are the most expensive component, but even those are cheaper than junk food.
Only argument might be that ready made meals are slightly cheaper if comparing single item price not per KG/lbs, but most components for home cooking are for multiple meals.
Sorry to hear about that. Yeah sometimes life can screw you over, even if doing everything right. But even then, basic maintenance of our bodies shouldn’t be discarded, it still can improve quality of life.
I do agree, it’s easier said than done, but that doesn’t mean it still shouldn’t be prioritized. Yes it will likely come at the expense of something else, usually even something we like to do.
Even i can get on average only around 7h, less during week, more on the weekends and that’s after prioritizing sleep, but it’s still better than previous 5-6h on average.
So don’t aim for a perfect solution. Just aim to improve it.

1·2 days agoThat’s useful, though second link is behind a user requirement, but it seems to be talking about prolactin and dopamine levels. Prolactin levels are within reference range, i did add those to the regular bloodwork just to be sure.
Though the meds on the first link are a new information, thank you.
Neither of those seem to be approved for use in men, that sucks. Once again have to turn to underground sources.
And that’s the part that sucks, if you’re a guy with libido issues it’s only hormone therapy or ED meds, if those won’t do anything then you’re shit out of luck, just STFU and man up.
Though still thank you, I’ll keep on digging.

Yeah i was a textbook case of a hyperactive kid with ADHD back when i was first diagnosed. From old documents, it took the psychologist single session to figure it out.
ASD was more hidden and that came out later in life when i was trying to get rediagnosed and test out some treatment options for ADHD.
Taking care of sleep, training and diet and my body is in the best shape and functionality it has ever been and thats during the time when it stereotypically starts to break down.
Folks you gotta take care of your body. We all have to do basic maintenance on our bodies throughout life.
The most basic resistance and cardio training, actually consistent and with some intensity. Controlling most of the diet, mostly just home cooked foods, nothing fancy even needed. Proper sleep hygiene. All of those will go a long way to keep our bodies functional, but only if done consistently and for as long as you want to remain functional.

1·2 days agoThat’s interesting, usually from male perspective the only meds that get recommended are testosterone or yeah ED meds.
Sadly ED meds have no effect on desire, though those do give a nice pump in the gym. In addition to improved boners.
And I’m already on TRT in attempts to fix it. After dialing in the dosages and frequency, i was back in square one.
Though I’ll most definitely take a look at drugs that are supposed to increase desire in women and how those are supposed to work.

1·3 days agoNot specifically later in life, i just didn’t give enough attention to it before to be able to notice it. It could have been there since the beginning, just masked by other factors. Internal working is a rather complicated and confusing subject and can easily take years or more to pinpoint the origin, why or how something works and how different factors influence it.
Sex and libido goes under it, i need months to years worth of observational data to notice specific behavioral habits and trends and then collate all the information to form some sort of a theory.
I doubt it’s depression, I’ve have had that one before. After i quit alcohol(borderline alcoholism), so i have comparison material how that functions in my body and behavior, neither there are any other symptoms of depression. Energy levels are up, mood is ok, bloodwork is ok, motivation is ok, picked up new hobbies over the years, no depressive taughts, I’ve even learned to notice and redirect negative spiraling, sleep is as good as it can get with shift work.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How is it LLM companies hoarding all the RAM and fabs complying, fucking up entire industries for years legal?English
19·3 days agoThere is no law regulating who someone can sell something, assuming it’s not regulated goods aka drugs, guns.
AI companies just outbid everyone else by a big enough margin and there are less than a handful of companies producing RAM as it’s rather complicated and specific production process.
New producers cant easily enter the market due to the complexity and completely insane initial investment cost in setting up the production and they would have to design their own RAM chips as well, which would take years if not decades.
Current chip producers don’t want to increase production either due to liking high price and being afraid of the bubble popping.
Even if there is some legal grounds for government stepping in and regulating supply to avoid collapse of smaller companies who can’t outbid AI companies. They are dining and getting funded by the same AI companies.

82·3 days agoAnd that has always completely baffled me. What’s the reasoning behind it? Why? Are they delusional? Do they consider themselves somehow special? If something has 99%+ chance of failure, theres absolutely no point to evne try or consider it as something that can happen, it’s basically a statistical anomaly.

Rest are occasional, wallet/card, keys, sunglasses, optical glasses. Most of my stuff is in a backpack and pockets are generally rather empty.

To a kid with textbook ADHD.
And that thing hasn’t changed at all in 25+ years, i still get it and my daughter gets it as well in school.

1·3 days agoCant tell for sure as it wasn’t that much of an issue when i was younger so i really didn’t have to turn much attention to it.
It was most definitely easier when i was younger. Kinda like more receptive and it was easier to go along.
One guess was that maybe life has gotten just busier over the years, but it has remained pretty much the same busy for nearly 15 years. Overall load has been probably even reduced due to kids being older now and not working 2 jobs. The physical pleasure is most definitely there and sometimes even mental/psychological pleasure, but there’s absolutely no drive to reengage, even though i logically know it is pleasurable.
I have heard and been browsing communities and googling about asexuality too and that seems to be mostly about attraction, which is an emotion and I’m really really bad at detecting those and as asexuality is kinda final i will avoid that for as long as possible.

Honestly that’s a fair point and relatable. Luckily i have a family of 4 so the consumption on veggies is faster than those going bad, mostly.
