Is this the last part I need to actually now bin the Google Home devices?
I use them to switch lights, listen to music and change the temperature.
With this, could I use that as the voice commands into home assistant for example?

Octopi Launcher. Until I found this I was ignoring all the red flags with Nova.
Found this, ran away from Nova.
Octopi Launcher is damn near a replacement. Learn nothing new, muscle memory for swiping up or down on dock icons to open other apps.
Those were my requirements and it nails it.
All of his videos are like that.
The one that sticks with me is Apple Glarse, his renaming of their Glass UI design.

Yep, 100%

Worth reporting it in the app/play store?

This sounds like a question for XKCD. Along with how could we flatten it out.
It is laziness on my part. I want to tell the Google home to play music.
I should just get a Bluetooth speaker and do this, shouldn’t I
No, the US Purism phone is not 100% American.
They have a different supply chain for it where European manufacturers are used for some parts.
But some things are only made in China. So I think what was said is Purism source some of the raw materials for these items and have them made to a higher tolerance for reliability.

Is that wrong? Would I be in the wrong for just setting these people on fire?
Littering. Only assholes do that.

If you can block all DNS traffic on you router, you can them redirect it to your own DNS server.
And PiHole seems to be the one many people use for that. Lots of guides for it, pre-made list on what to block etc.
22 episode shows are rare now. That’s something from the olden days!

100k rows is a small data set for a lot of what I look at, but that is at work.
Let me split it down.
For work use, 100% has to be Excel. For personal use, either of the FOSS is more than enough.

Steel tank, not copper?

Nice.
Giving it a go now. Thanks for the recomendation

Personally, it never occurred to me. I had been using Google Podcasts and even before they announced it was EOL, it was getting annoying.
Spotify was there, had everything, so I used it. They keep putting their prices up and I am ready to leave.
What podcast app would you recommend?

Super.
No need to watch when I get home now.
Thanks

If we clearly have to pay for.something, instead of it being wrapped into a license of so many things, I will push for us to take Zoom.
It just works better.
Annotating on screen is worth it alone, instead of trying to talk the screen sharer to what part of the screen you want to talk about.
Fair enough. And giving them to people is the vehicle equivalent or remote IT support!
Awesome idea!
I take it as a “fixed” reference. Many people know the Amish community hit a point and chose not to use new technology created after that.
They are not against it, or others using it.
I don’t interpret the phrase as having malace, just a way to show this might be the new line in the sand.
Amish 2.0 ?
