Even if most of those trying it out eventually go back to Windows, this is still great for Linux!

I had a vest from these guys for when id motorcycle in winter on the west coast.
It’s a red flag for as long as longevity in a relationship goes. If everyone is on board and knows the likely outcome then it just is what it is. Have fun and party ways. But, it sounds like the end goal for her might be to get married and do the “live happily ever after” thing. Then yes it’s a red flag in the sense that she would likely be wasting her time.
This doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, imo. Especially since you let her know your history and each outcome. And, it’s pretty reasonable for her to be hesitant to commit if she knows it’s not likely going to last because you will inevitably get bored.
Just my 2 cents anyway.

I still use hexchat… suppose i shouldn’t since it’s not being updated anymore. But, I’ve tried a bunch and it’s the only one i like.

discreetly? before being 100% work from home, i used to stream my tv with plex with my tablet on my desk. I’d usually just put one earbud in and leave the other ear to hear people if they needed me.
In highschool however (back in the late 90s) i used to listen to music from my walkman by fishing the corded earbuds from my pants pocket and in thru my sleeve. I’d hold the earbuds in my hand and the oversized hoodie sleeve would conceal everything perfectly. I’d rest my head in my hand with the earbuds and I’d look like any other student getting their work done.
You mentioned your generation so ill put myself as xennial.
I dont use tobacco at all. Never seen the appeal of it myself.
I have a beer on occasion and sometimes use wine in cooking.
I use weed regularly for sleep and shoulder pain

GOBBLESS YA SON

If you were, not anymore. That’s what I’m calling it from now on.
Always convenient when the trash takes itself out.

Sure. “Costumes”.
Seconding pop os for a solid starter Linux distro.
Been daily driving it for about 3 years now i think.

90 days? That’s so quick. I lived in my current city without a doctor for nearly a decade. Now I have an nurse practitioner and any appointment I want to make with them is always 6 months out.
This shit isn’t good enough.

Yea a proper tune would likely help a bunch in both performance and temps.
I’m pretty crap at bios tuning and usually just follow guides. I’ll try my hand at it this weekend if it’s not busy

I upgraded to this chip from a 5600g, there was much more improvement than I was expecting. Nothing life changing but a good boost nonetheless. It smoothed out a lot of frame rate drops in my games and is quite capable for productivity workloads.
Only issue now I gotta watch my heat a little more since I went from a 65w CPU to the 105w CPU built in a fractal node 202. Still running my stock cooler for the 5600g.

Classic sleepy Don.

Same. played it at launch on PC. i might have been one of the lucky ones. No real show stoppers as far as glitches went.

Ah gotcha. I’m kind of enjoying just hanging with regular people being regular on mastodon. Probably check out bluesky at some point.
Thanks for the info!

Haven’t been following Blue sky stuff at all. Any reason to use this over mastodon?
But hey! No pressure.
