Strange story for you… I had very bad athletes foot for many years. All the off the shelf powders and creams didn’t help at all. Someone told me to pee on my feet to cure it, I didnt believe them but tried it anyways. Worked amazingly quickly. Occasionally I do it still but not all the time. Haven’t had athletes foot in over 25 years… I’m so sorry for the story. 😂

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Question: Humidity controlled cabinetEnglish
2·1 month agoHow well are those glass panes sealed to the wood? Could silicone the panes in. Doubt it would help you go lower, but I’m curious how much the dehumidifier runs after it gets to 35% to keep it there? I didnt realize they even made dehumidifiers that small, might have to look at them. 🙂

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Changing to Openwrt router made my Homelab slower. Could you help me dissect the issue?English
1·3 months agoI dont know much about OpenWRT so dont pay to much attention to me.
I doubt 20ms of extra latency would make much of a noticeable difference. Though its odd its higher now. Does it change, get higher and lower? Are you cable links actually connected at 1000Mbps? Or are some connected at only 100? Can you verify the connection speed?
I have seen IP conflicts with do some weird things depending on hardware. Have a good look to make sure something didn’t get missed with static IPs And Your DHCP pool.

You mean anti-fascist, not the double negative? That might be an important typo. 🙂

2·6 months agoThanks for testing that! I thought it might work but I was wrong. Guess people will have to do one to RiMusic first then Kreate. Hopfully that still works…

4·6 months agoThats what I have been using. Its based off RiMusic which was based off ViMusic.

Just adding a note. People should be able to backup your music in ViMusic or RiMusic and restore in Create. They seem to use the same database. Though I havent tried directly from ViMusic to Kreate. I went from ViMusic to RiMusic to Kreate.

Buy Canadian@lemmy.ca•Tough Duck is your Canadian alternative for CarharttsEnglish
21·1 year agoTough duck is canadian but I will not buy from them again. They were union made clothes made in canada. But that has changed. No more union anymore that I can tell. And all clothes seem to be made in other countries now. I bought the same jacket that used to be made in canada, it is now made in another country and the fit is all wrong. Quite disappointed with the turn of quality and the companies change of altitude towards union canada made clothing. I was happy to be paying more for canadian made clothing, to bad. 🙁

Ontario@lemmy.ca•Websites for voting strategically against the ConservativesEnglish
3·1 year agoYep my riding to. All of them say vote liberal but they have never had more than 11% of the votes in this area. This area used to be NDP 3 elections before as well and is always the second when they are not winning.
Have a look in your area on past results. Though that might not mean the past results are valid on the current polls. Would be nice to have current polls broken down to separate districts.

Green Energy@slrpnk.net•Form Energy secures $405M to speed development of long-awaited 100-hour batteryEnglish
2·1 year agoLithium batteries typically last four hours.
What does this even mean? What a useless metric. They last alot longer than that for me. How much current does their battery draw when lasting 100 hours? What are the costs compared to lithium? Zero useful info other than “company spends money”…

4·2 years agoNo specific country, but somewhere in north america would be nice. The end of my comment was just referring to unavailability of cells made and produced in country’s other than China. From my small experience most companies won’t even talk to you for small orders, are very expensive or say something like they are only looking for investors. I can’t wait for the day when these cells are on the shelf at local stores.
