Interesting, is it actual anonymity or just static obfuscation where after simple data analysis you’d be able to tie all past and future data to the user moving forward? Do you have the source for that? I have issues finding anything despite trying out different keywords.

No, I just happened to see the notification for this post on matrix on my phone so I manifested my presence to critique lemmy only to afterwards dissipate into nothingness like I once was.

I support it but it feels pointless given it’s just trying to treat symptoms and not the core issue which is the ability to get them in the first place. I don’t think that there’s even any good solution for that given the decentralised nature of the fediverse which sucks.

If you have any questions I will answer them but preferably on matrix given I don’t use lemmy/github anymore so there’s a good chance I’ll miss them. @martineski:matrix.org

Fuck lemmy for leaking politics to every possible community and not removing it on user reports. What a cesspool of a platform.

They recently started posting lots on piefed too! You will find their communities on piefed.social and I find them personally pretty quality.

This is what I was referring to, your understanding is distorted because BOTH fall under the discoverability. You’re bending the reality around you so that it fits your agenda ignoring literally anything that is said to you. The communities aren’t forced upon you either as it’s you choosing which feeds you follow the exact same way posts are added to a community you follow so they’re not forced upon you buddy. Or what, should we get rid of communities as well? XDD Let’s go back to microblogging where we can scream into the void that we can’t navigate through due to almost nothing of organisation besides the tags maybe that can’t even be moderated unlike communities/feeds. I guess we should get rid of the concept of tags too given your perspective on organisaton and discoverability of things you’re interested in? Some of your points are valid but a lot of them are incoherent and ignore reality. Some of the suggestions are terrible for everyone out there too due to ignoring of that reality. I’d work great if the world worked the way you perceive it through your mind though.

I don’t really want the gesture colors to reflect vote colors regardless of what I set it too. It’s just that with vote colors you have an option to swap colors for them and I’m requesting the ability to swap colors of gesture colors for voting as well.

Your suggestion would be much more flexible/powerful and comfortable to use though as it’s hard to get the wanted color correctly and repeat it as well. But what comes with it I assume there’s more work for it?

(Yesterday I converted someone into using this app and they love it a lot. Today I changed the text size for posts by accident when looking through the settings for something and it applied on the spot. I think it would be great to apply settings only when pressing “save settings” button or a way to revert settings to the previous ones you had maybe. The button sounds simpler. I was lucky to have a backup from sharing the settings with that person though.)
