That is also without bringing up the fact that capitalist powers have used very violent means to oppress anti-capitalist movements in numerous cases.

Even millionaires and large corporations do not agree with it, which is why they get bailed out by the government.

I also think that capitalism seems to be defined in very abstract and unscientific ways (the “free market” definition and “voluntary exchange” definition being examples) in order to both be out of reach of scientific criticisms and also be an unrealistic goal to work towards for workers (that also deflects from any necessary changes to their plights).

Of course! They have to create agents of capital from amongst the workers, and that means proclaiming the “benefits” of imperialism.
