2·4 months agoI stopped when they removed the “download and transfer via USB” option. Before that I bought books, downloaded a copy and removed the DRM.
Now I just download books without DRM for free.

7·5 months agoI listen to punk music recorded on crappy gear, so I prefer not to hear it hi-fi.
I bought a media center pc around 2000 and installed Ubuntu. The only thing that didn’t work out of the box was sound through HDMI. Figured it out the same day.

51·1 year agoThe only effect this will have on me is that I’m going to stop buying books from Amazon.
Mint was super easy. I just had to scratch my head for two days trying to figure out why the keyboard didn’t work after coming out of suspend. Had something to do with it being in a USB 3.0 port. Once I plugged it into a 2.0-port it worked.




I use Qwant. The question is not whether there is an alternative search engine. It’s why we don’t have huge internet companies. And the author gives his ideas.
