Yes because it’s so much better when it’s the government who has the monopole.
The only counter example that comes to mind is EDF in France but other than that it doesn’t change the problem.
It’s like a vpn app but for containers instead. I personally use it for invidious-companion which I route to Albania so google doesn’t block it.
For payments between friends, we can request payments via QRcodes from our banking apps that friends scan with their banking apps. It’s secure as before you scan the QRcode, you can see the amount you’ll pay and when you scan it with your app, you’ll see the amount you’re going to pay and then you have to either use biometrics or your pin to confirm the transfer.

Proton VPN sucks, you still don’t have IPv6 support, and your Linux client never works. Why would anyone pay for a service like that ?

Delete speedtest.net, YouTube, YouTube kids and ChatGPT and use either web apps or favorite them in your browser, as Firefox for iOS is really bad compared to other platforms I would recommend you to use brave instead as it comes included with an adblocker which works really well. Also do you need all of iOS’s bloat ? Do have an Apple Watch ? Do you have an Apple TV+ subscription ? Do you use HomeKit for smart home devices and so on.
Happy to be a fedora user.
