My comments about about rustdesk being Chinese had zero to do with race. If it would be Russian I would say exactly the same. RustDesk tean have done questionable things, so it is quite certain that they have governmental links.

RustDesk is not fully open source, there are closed source parts for it.

Currently there is no good alternative unfortunately.
