I do a lot of photography and I share it on my Pixelfed.

It’s exclusively SFW.

  • Medium format is really fun to shoot too! I’ve also got a Lubitel 166b (also a TLR, and a HELLA cheap camera) that I snagged awhile ago and it needed a lot of work too.

The artifacts around the edges of the image here I think might either be some light leaks I still need to fix or from my bodged scanning.

I develop my black and white film myself as it’s WAY cheaper to do it myself, I’m planning to start doing cyanotype prints soon as I think that would be really cool too.

Fixing larger older cameras is really fun IMO, it’s complicated for sure but they’re WAY more simple than newer cameras.

  • I started with a Lubitel 166b, they can be had pretty cheaply in pretty good condition. I got mine for about $75USD in working condition with OG packaging, manuals, and a carrying case. Though I’d recommend a Lubitel 166 Universal though as they can shoot both 6x6 and 645, which is really cool. (120 film, 12 frames per roll)

My Agfa Synchro Box camera was had for about $60USD and came with a carrying case. It shoots 6x9. (120 film, 8 frames per roll)

My Sputnik Stereo Camera was about $275, said to have been serviced recently, it needs a solid CLA though. Which sucks but ain’t the first time that’s happened. It shoots Stereo 6x6 photos. (120 film, technically 6 shots per roll)

My Graflex Speed Graphic was bought in “For Parts” condition for about $300, and it needed a lot of work on my part to get it working great. But it’s working like a dream now. It had stuck shutters, bend focusing rails, a filthy lens, and so much more. It shoots 4x5 sheet film. (individual 4x5 sheets)

I’d love to go larger but that’s when things go from expensive to nucking futs. Like just the film is like $200 for 25 black and white negatives. And the cameras are even more insane!

  • NGL finding deodorant that doesn’t smell awful is kinda hard for me. My sense of smell is easily my most sensitive sense which makes a lot of things really overwhelming. (So many new things I buy need to be left to air out for a day or more before I can use them)

Especially if it’s marketed to men. So many men’s products have smells like “Smoke, tobacco, whisky, etc” and I’m just sitting here going “I don’t want to smell like shit, I wanna smell nice”

This one though IMO is one of my favorites, it smells nice and fruity and it’s not over powering. It’s subtle.

And it plays really nicely with my shampoo and body wash.
