1·3 years agoiPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16.5.1, compact view.
All previous builds since the beginning were buttery smooth, just the most recent one has noticeable stutter while scrolling and swiping to open/close community side bar

2·3 years agoLove the new swipe back feature, such a convenient feature to not have to reach across the screen, thanks!
Looks like the new update did slow down the app smoothness though, I’m no longer scrolling the app at full refresh rate and stutters are occurring during scroll and when pulling out community drawer. But, I know everything is a work in progress and it’s really shaping up!

Formula 1@lemmy.world•Max Verstappen wins the 2023 Bristish Grand Prix
5·3 years agoThe fight with Hamilton showed that their car is doing great on top speed and high speed corners, but not low speed corners. I won’t be surprised if slower circuits will see them dropping back around front of midfield.

Another issue is I think the moderator is somewhat dormant and there’s no current process in lemmy to replace or add new ones without their approval. Bit of a lawless land at the moment. Formula1 on lemmy.ml has active moderators and sidebar and pinned posts, but very slightly less engagement though quite close.

Here is an image example (not viewable on Memmy). The Yellow color coded comment is the third level. The second level in between has completely disappeared. This is after collapsing the second level and then collapsing the first level.

1·3 years agoThis is from clicking the image preview directly in compact mode right? I seem to have the save and share options in compact mode, but not sure why different from you.
Edit, sorry, ignore. I had not updated to the latest version yet. I also have the same bug now.
Anywhere you think you see something interesting. There is no need to play them in order at all as the stories are all self contained. The names I tend to see most often are FF6, FF7, and FF10 (11 and 14 are MMO - what I actually started with).
Additionally, the beauty of final fantasy’s idea of having recurring names/enemies/etc is that even if you play a newer game before an older one and see a name or thing you recognize, you will always come to appreciate the callback even if you found out about them out of order.
Just keep in mind that since these games have spanned decades, the style and complexity of game will obviously have changed greatly, I know I personally have a hard time playing through really old games so it would be harder for me to start and get hooked by playing the older games

Max is a good sport about it, good thing these two are friends!
