11·1 day agoThe game that this is within already targets children with expensive micro transactions. So pretending like this changes anything is kinda dumb.
If its ok to buy fortnite skins its fine to buy whatever a $45 brain rot skin gets you and its extra funny that it can be stolen.

22·1 day agoOk thats actually funny to add $45 mtx. If people wanna spend money on a meme game like that who cares. If parents leave their card hooked up to their kids account thats on them.
I dont see the issue here.

191·1 day agoIts funny reading the positive reviews and seeing thay they couldn’t even bother spending more than 20mins playing.
Props for it being open source but it seems like a shit game. Needs more gameplay polish I doubt AI was the problem here.
It does and runs great. It runs my 10kspm factory no issues

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What job do most people think is good, but you don't think you would enjoy?
3·2 days agoThats kind of what I am doing at the moment and i enjoy writing those scripts but i get so nervous running them. Even though I’m really confident they won’t break something i still feel I’m unlucky enough for the script to accidentally delete our prod dB.

20·3 days agoProgrammer. I just fucking hate writing code. Also working with stupid frameworks and having to keep up with whatever new bullshit framework or feature people want implemented would drive me insane. I would crash out if asked to implement MCP into our app.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Baldur's Gate 3's lead writer hopes we won't want to save scum [repeated quicksave] in Divinity: 'Our ambition is certainly to make failure more interesting'English
2·3 days agoThat doesnt sound like save scumming to me. Save scumming is usually referring to reloading a save over and over until you get the RNG you want. Like an xcom mission where you need to make a 25% shot and you save and reload until you hit that shot.
So for bg3 save scumming would be seeing that you have a low chance to get a roll, saving and then reloading until you get lucky.
Mac troubleshooting be like: any issue > reimage the machine
When ive used a project for a while and i have extra cash I usually do a 20$ donation. Ive been low on money last year so I only donated to a few of the projects, listenbrainz and Lemmy.
Ideally I want to donate a small amount yearly to all the projects I use.

It adds a lot of extra risk since each node is a constant radio beacon that is easily trackable.
Compared with handheld radio that broadcast and disappear.
