3 years agoI think the people that would seek out a third party app are mostly the kind of people that would do the extra work of copying and pasting an API key. It will definitely be a smaller userbase than before though.

Couldn’t they just have the app ask for the user’s API key? I use a weather app that does that with OpenWeatherMap.
