I’m in exactly the same spot. Not looking to get out just yet, I’m actually starting as manager tomorrow, but maybe in a year or two going back to school, but I have no idea what for. I’d consider just moving up to higher management positions but the next step up from where I’m starting tomorrow is outside the union and I’d like to stay unionized. At the same time, the non-unionized job pays way more (over double) so it might be worth it in the future. That’s a bit away yet though.

2·13 days agoHalo Reach is so good. It’s been a while since I’ve played it all the way through, I really should give it a shot again soon.

5·13 days agoYeah, I’d probably agree with that. Some games are just better being tighter and more closed off. I love open world and semi-open world games but it’s not always appropriate.

2·13 days agoAwesome, thanks for the write up. I’m not sure I’ll have time tonight but I’ll try this out when I get the chance. I appreciate the help, and I’ll let you know if I need any more assistance.

25·13 days agoI loved this game. The sequel was actually pretty decent too, but nowhere near as good as the first imo. A rare case of a branch of EA making a good game that doesn’t just feel like a cash grab. Maybe that’s because it was made in 2008 though.

2·14 days agoI’m going to try this later on and see if it helps. When I moved from windows to Linux on my pc I had a similar issue with steam not recognizing my external, and doing this solved it. Unfortunately I can’t remember how I did that now so I’ll have to try and find a guide online or something.

1·14 days agoThis was my first thought. Upon looking into it further it seems Jellyfin doesn’t think the directory to my drive exists. I might have to change its location like another commenter suggested, but it’s been a while since I’ve done that and can’t remember at all how to do it anymore. I’ll try finding a guide online or something.

2·14 days agoI’m not really sure what I’m looking at, but the most recent log is called FFmpeg and then a whole bunch of numbers and letters. I opened the file and most of it didn’t make any sense but at the end it reads
Error opening input file file:/[path to file I was trying to view]/[file name]. Error opening input files: Input/output errorThe rest makes no sense to me, I’m not really sure how to read it all.

It’s a fully accurate map actually. Every time one of these gets made I immediately fall into the ocean and have to help rebuild my country again from the ground up. It’s not something many people talk about but it’s a real challenge in the Canadian way of life.

That one already exists. They’re called Pink Floyd.

2·15 days agoNice job! Sounds like a good setup to me. I’m way too stubborn and refuse to do anything other than FUGS and Fallen Knight set, hopefully one day I can git gud and beat him with my favourite setup.

1·17 days agoI’ll probably give it a shot the next time I have an itch for Skyrim. I’m not usually one for survival games but it seems worth trying.

0·17 days agoGood luck! One of my all time favourite games for sure. I much preferred Ashes of Ariendel over Ringed City but the latter is still a good DLC. The final boss of RC is one of my favourite bosses in the whole franchise. Good luck with M, that’s the only boss I’ve never beaten.

0·18 days agoOh nice!
You know, after over 5k hours I still haven’t tried survival mode. Most of that playtime is before it was a thing but I’m guessing I probably have at least a few hundred hours after survival was introduced and I never bothered to try it. Maybe someday.

2·18 days agoNice recap! And thanks for the well wishes. It was a pretty rough move, lots of drama with the previous tenants, but it’s over now and we’re settling in. The cats were very stressed out, which stressed me out, but they love it here now, so I’m happy. My wife seems much happier now too, which makes me happy as well. My daughter is too young to understand what’s going on (still just a baby) so she was happy the whole time, which is really the only thing that kept my wife and I grounded. All in all, super stressful couple of days, but now we’re both very happy.

I play a ton of Hitman 3 on a laptop (11800H, 3060 mobile, 16gb ram) and it runs fantastic. Just in case anyone has similar or better specs to me, wondering if they could run it well.
