I respect Richard Dawkins very much, and he is right to some degree. But there comes a point where the evidence is so clear, and the delusion so out of touch with reality, that we have to consider that people also have free will¹. The problem is that people are WILLINGLY staying within their delusions, and when that becomes the case, it is no different from insanity.
¹ Regarding free will this is a question I’ve studied very carefully, and my conclusion is clear, that we have free will within the limits of our understanding of reality and our physical abilities and requirements, and this free will does NOT require a god or a soul. The idea of a soul is completely made up nonsense with absolutely zero evidence or even indication of being true. Free will is possible within the restraints of a reality guided by physical laws, and has nothing to do with the uncertainty principles of quantum mechanics.

Not so much, it is more a generalization, and the degree may vary, but at the core there is truth to this. These are people who refuse the facts of reality, which is why the saying that reality has a liberal bias is not just a joke. But the fact is that Republicans discard reality in favor of their delusions. While the sane adjust their views according to reality.
