The way i look at is if you give me a good app(sync) with good functionality and a nice ui I don’t mind seeing ad’s or throwing some money the devs way.

My big issue with the reddit app was there was no equivalent exchange going on i had a shitty app with awful ui that was buggy slow showed me adds and tracked my data I didn’t get anything from that so I had to stop.

I kept being signed out of jerboa every update so I kinda just lurked anonymously until a new app was released but now I’m back.

Used last pass for years until they decided no account sync for free users now I use bitwarden which I find is fantastic.

Jerboa for now just waiting for boost to release on lemmy and then i will move.

When it asks for username type email instead the username does not seem to be valid when signing in I have found.

Same here man boost on reddit was my shit for years. If boost looks and feels the same as it did on reddit I will be delighted.
