It sounds like you’re getting your information from purely 1-sided sources. Look for news sources that cover the perspective of both sides. I’m not saying this as a Trump supporter.

Where do you see downvotes? I only see the total votes. I just checked my settings and I have all the “show” options enabled. I only see downvotes on comments.
Not everyone, but definitely you.
Lemmy is a website, not an app. I never download an app, but it appears that is what you did. It sounds like there’s a knowledge deficit on your end, in addition to you being eager to apply labels to people to make yourself feel superior. You should definitely be embarrassed by your ignorant and childish comment that references a very immature and unintelligent subreddit.
I will reiterate that there are very good & important reasons to leave platforms like Reddit, Facebook, etc. Most people are too unintelligent, ignorant, and lazy to learn about them and move away from those platforms.
Unfortunately, most people are too unintelligent and lazy to learn about the reasons to support reddit-alternatives, and move to them.
That doesn’t prevent users from changing account passwords though right? Say you give access to someone to manage your social media (or some other important account), they could log in and change the password and email and take over the account.
Do you know of a way to protect against employee/partner sabotage?
Doesn’t that mean everyone has admin access to the full database and all accounts? You’re putting full trust in everyone that no one will make a mistake, or purposefully sabotage the db or accounts.

That’s for neonicotinoids, not glyphosate.

Ok. I’m not keeping track of usernames. You answered as if you were the previous commenter. And my response telling you to block it if you didn’t want to see it was perfectly appropriate.
Your follow-up response is the odd one:
I do want to see this comm. I never said I didn’t, you two just have really bad reading comprehension.

It’s not just Google unfortunately, Yahoo & Hotmail/Outlook are even worse.

I do want to see this comm. I never said I didn’t, you two just have really bad reading comprehension.
Uhh… This is what you originally commented:
What’s the point of having this community? This smacks of a jilted partner occasionally stalking their ex from the bushes, seeking out validation that the breakup was warranted. Instead of giving energy and time to the Reddit dumpster fire of the moment, put more time into the fediverse.
So you’re either trolling or you have some serious cognitive issues.

Then block it if you really don’t want to see anything to do with reddit.

It’s possible to do both. It’s important to have a place that catalogs all the problems with reddit. Especially since they’re censored on reddit. If you don’t want to see it, unsubscribe from this sub.

People are mentioning trolls, but hiding post history is a huge boon to scammers & bots too, which reddit is full of.

Reddit’s AI will detect what types of posts you like until they are slightly confident it’s you. Then, permanent ban.
This seems extremely unlikely. There is most likely another explanation for what you experienced.

“Blocking” on Lemmy is actually “muting”, but the devs want to keep it labeled as “block”.
That’s not really true. If something like 1-3% of recipients mark your email as spam, they’re all going to spam.

Infinite growth on a finite planet is suicide.

Downvoted for posting a screenshot instead of a link to the article. Forcing me to enter the thread to see if there’s a link to the article is not valid.
How does it compare to nextdoor & craigslist?
