Gonna be weird when she stabs herself and the audience also hears a gunshot.

Games@lemmy.world•Why are we not getting stress relief games where we take our stresses out on normal people?English
8·21 days agoA lot of VR titles let you do that. Job simulator, vacation simulator, and more erm, viscerally, surgeon simulator.
Scratch scratch scratch scratch scratch…play with paws…play with paws, have to get used to me touching your paws for later…I’m adopting this dog now, I don’t care who owns him.

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Why Darren Aronofsky Thought an AI-Generated Historical Docudrama Was a Good Idea
72·27 days agoThat’s exactly how I feel about improv. “I’ll come back when you’ve written down the best bits.”
Wowsers! That was a shock.
I figured the colloquial term wasn’t in use yet. But I feel like even without the actual term, the metaphor is still there in the cartoon. More…erm…“facial” oriented.
I know! I just got this 40 years later!
But they couldn’t even do a diet Coke sign? (since regular doesn’t work nearly as well.)

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week?
4·1 month agoHaving laugh out loud fun with “Promise Mascot Agency.” It’s basically all the wacky dialogue of the best Yakuza side missions with business management sim. Like Dondoko Island if you play those games. If you are into management sims, then play on Hard to start. I’m on normal and the gameplay offers almost zero challenge. But the exploration, characters and writing is excellent.
Got a pair like that from Costco. Still like new 2 years later and a lot of biking.

That’s awesome. A close friend is doing similar stuff right now and I hope you both are happy to have this specific issue. You absolutely should feel good about yourself!

Technology@lemmy.world•China’s ‘artificial sun’ breaks nuclear fusion limit thought to be impossibleEnglish
22·2 months agoI generally agree that science reporting treats everyone like children, but I really don’t have a problem with this analogy. Stars are the only naturally occurring fusion we have to observe and compare it to. To me that makes sense.
