Went to see Barbie at Alamo Drafthouse at the Cedars location yesterday (the first time I can remember going in quite a while), and I couldn’t help but notice it doesn’t stand up in quality to my memories of previous visits. The seats were quite worn through, the little recline feature didn’t work, the tables sticky, service slow, and menu altered (not to mention prices vastly increased). And this is minor but they used to take your order on a tablet, scan your card right then, start your tab, then just drop your receipt at the end of the movie. Now they just collected our indicator card orders at the beginning and then went through the ordeal of collecting credit cards, running them, and returning them in the last 45 mins of the show. It ran so smoothly before so this change stood out in my mind.

Has anyone else noticed this or have I just been out of the movie going game for too long?
