Personally, unless I’m on a long journey and traversing through a large landscape/dimension and need a way of moving quickly, I just don’t wear my elytra. I keep it ready in my shulker box if the need presents itself but find that more often than not it just isn’t worth sacrificing the extra protection provided by having a chest plate on. Am I weird or does anyone agree?
