I’m sure that if I lived in the ME or had connections there, that I’d have very strong opinions on the Obama admin.
Realistically, the greatest friend to the Middle East in the US is going to be progressives/leftists. They are the only hope we have right now of pushing the dems to adopt actual leftist policies.
We need to get people that are fond of Obama to start looking at progressive and socialist candidates and seriously consider them.
I am 100% in favor of massive paradigm shift. But we will not see that in my lifetime. It has to get bad, like really bad, before the appetite is there.
Shitting on progressives who are giving us the best chance to reverse course on Israel helps no one, other than to shit on the US. Would we really expect state or national write-in campaigns to work? Or are we going to discuss things that have a chance of actually happening?
I understand the name of the community we are in. I’d like to know what the actual, reality based, goals are here. Or is it just a place to shit on people trying to make things better?

I personally want to see their grip over the world to loosen at any cost. Enough is enough. They’ve proven to be unreliable with all that unchecked power.
Dems are not and never were interested in stopping endless wars. Hell, most of them aren’t even offended at the needless trade war unleashed on Canada because he wants to colonize us.
Progressives and leftist in USA can’t do fk all for West Asia or the global majority. They’ll be lucky if they manage to get clean water and healthcare for their own citizens.
I feel this post though it really got nuked, but I feel it. I think Obummer should be in the ICE detention facilities he funded along with ICE chuds and Trump. There’s no fucking way anything will change for the working class and indigenous populations of this world when the capitalists are allowed to roam free range.
