wendy carlos is 86, still alive , and if you don’t know about her, shes an excellent composer/arranger/electronic musician. She did the clockwork orange soundtrack, switched on bach and did pionnering works in modular synthesisers.
It’s a pity that she doesn’t update her website anymore. She used to post things there fairly regularly, but she’s been silent since 2020.
And everyday is an act of rebellion.

I missed this when you first posted, but I happened to see it and couldn’t resist a shout-out to Rachel Pollack, who made it to 77 and in the process taught a lot of people a lot of wisdom, including myself. May your own years be long and blessed.
