I recently finished my second playthrough, this time on Standard (Classic) and would like to move on to Insanity.

I tried jumping straight to Insanity after finishing my first playthrough, but I noticed that it’s that annoying kind of difficulty where all the enemies just take a stupid amount of damage; they don’t even give you enough ammo to take out any of the infected, so my guess it’s going to be a lot of avoiding the enemies.

I solved one of my problems…not having a knife to fend off enemies when they latch on. I unlocked the indestructible knife for Grace which should give me some breathing room, but besides avoiding that enemies, anyone have any tips?

    Finish the game in 4 hours on easy difficulty. Find all mr racoons. Buy infinite ammo for guns, buy the rpg and infinite ammo for rpg. Ez insanity after that.

      Thanks for the tips.

      I’m not a speedrunner of any kind, but finishing the story in under 4 hours on easy was…well easy. Finished it in 3 hours and 8 minutes and also completed the ‘complete the story without using the blood collector’ challenge.

      So, for anyone worried about not being able to finish it in under 4 hours, don’t sweat it.

      Officially starting my Insanity run.
