… wait, what do office buildings do again? Oh, right, Force owners to hold until they can sell at break-even-or-profit for fear of letting the Commercial Real Estate Bubble pop as it should have already, arguably BEFORE 2008.
Back then, there were just too many office buildings that couldn’t be modernized in a useful manner, since converted to anything and everything so long as it wouldn’t actually help solve homelessness or lower rents. For the last 15+ years, there’s just too many office buildings.
Even call centers running scams while paying workers in peanuts will never be enough to fill Office buildings even half-way, ever again. Same goes for ICE detention centers and empty warehouses, now I think about it.
